For the day that’s in it, I thought it would be worth posting a Halloween inspired smoothie!
I love flavours like cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin so much, especially around this time of year. As it gets colder, I know I’m a lot less likely to start my day with a cold smoothie, but they’re so handy to if you’re in the mood – they couldn’t be simpler & this one is delicious.
I was so excited up until today to experience my first Halloween in the city. But, alas, I am still without a decent costume so the whole idea of dressing up is very stressful! New Yorkers really don’t seem to do anything by half. It makes me excited though, if this is the effort they go to for Halloween, roll on Christmas!
I took these photos whilst wandering around the West Village last weekend. These aren’t even the best ones I’ve seen but they’re still so cute! I just started a new job this week and the hours are very long, so I’m sad that I didn’t make the most of my time to get lost in different areas when I had the chance. Time goes by so quickly here, I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since I moved!
Cinnamon Smoothie Recipe:
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp of almond butter
1 cup of almond milk
½ tsp of nutmeg
½ tsp of ginger
1 tsp of cinnamon
Blend everything up in the blender & viola 🙂
