Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Good morning from a very humid NYC. The heat doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast, unfortunately! This weeks #ThursdayTreats edition will be featuring my delicious Cookie Dough Protein Balls. These were another recipe that I tested on my friends Barry & Thomas and they (like the Almond Butter Fudge) polished off the batch. Cookie Dough Protein Balls, Cinnamon Soul, Fitness Blogger, Food Blogger, Fitness Blogger NYC, Food Blogger NYC, New York Blogger, Protein snack, protein dessert, fitness snack, healthy treats, food blog, healthy food blogI love these protein balls for how handy and quick they are. They also bring me right back to when I started my blog, because the first few recipes that I did were all ‘no-bake’ balls and truffle style. Have a look back over some of them if you fancy, my favorites are definitely my Cashew Chews, Chocolate Protein Balls, and the Almond Butter Bites. If you’ve ever tried any of my recipes, I would love love love to hear which one was your favorite? Also, if anyone has any specific type of recipe that they would like me to create, or a classic recipe that you’d like to see a ‘clean’ version of, please let me know! I’m always on the look out for some inspiration for something new, so who better than the people who actually do read my little blog. Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Ingredients

  • 30g of unflavored soy protein
  • 30g of coconut flour
  • 130g of almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 1 bar of Lindt 70% dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and combine well
  2. When the mixture is completely mixed, set aside in the fridge
  3. Allow to chill for 30 minutes
  4. Remove from the fridge and with your hands, mould the mixture into bite sized balls
  5. Melt the chocolate and coat the balls in the chocolate
  6. Set aside until they have fully dried
  7. Enjoy!
  8. Store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days
