It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I’ve seen so many gift guides floating around this past week, so I decided to hop on the band wagon and put together my own.
This is essentially a list of things that I have invested in in the last year, and some that I haven’t but would personally love. Below are the direct links to the exact products that I have myself so you can trust that they are tried and tested! This gift guide is pretty much suited to anyone with an interest in heath, fitness and being the best version of themselves.
This is just handy to have if you want to work out at home during the Summer. Be careful with the novelty skipping ropes though, I bought one covered in cartoon minions because I thought I was gas. It ended up being about 4 foot long so needless to say, that was a fail!
Like the skipping rope, these are great for at home workouts. For those nights when you really aren’t feeling up to the gym, these are perfect. Stick on a good YouTube workout and off you go, feel the burn! My Mum bought me these about 3 years ago for Christmas and I still have them at home. They’re a real investment!
These are also great if you find a good YouTube to follow along and work out to.
I got this one off Amazon and leave it on my desk in work. It literally forces me to drink at least 2 liters of water a day which of course is brilliant for you. It’s definitely better than using that same plastic bottle every day (it’s BPA free) and it also helps you to keep track of your water intake.
This is great to help you keep your back straight when sitting at your desk in work. I’m always hunched over when I walk or sit, so this could be just the trick to help someone improve their posture.
I actually have never tried this sort of spray, but I love the sound of it. Perfect for those restless nights when you just need a nice little bit of luxury to help you get more comfortable and doze off.
Conor bought me the silver version for my birthday last year and I love it! Very easy on the eyes and way better than the plastic bottle I used to use to death to the point where it looked like a car had run over it!
8. Gym bag & contents
I’m obsessed with this Gym Bag from ban.do. Who doesn’t love opening one present to find more bits and bobs inside. This is ideal for someone who you know will be making an effort to start fresh in the gym in January. I know I would love this! Here’s a few things to include if you do want to fill it up with goodies.
- Dry shampoo
- Make up wipes
- Body spray
- Pack of sock
- Face cloth
- Their favorite protein bars
Whether it’s one to plan out workouts, a food diary or just a general planner, this is a gift for any and every girl. My go-to has to be XO Planners. I’ve been using mine all year and you will have seen it on my Instagram and Snapchat many times before. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Nina, the girl who runs the company is a dote so I would definitely recommend supporting this one-woman-company. Girl boss! Fun fact: XO Planners was actually the first brand that ever reached out to me and gifted me something, so I’ll always support Nina for supporting me from day one.
10. Facial voucher
Oh there is nothing more painful yet satisfying than a good extraction. I usually go to Mario Badescu here in the city and really couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
11. Pilates voucher
This is a really good one for the pilates or yoga lover in your life. I got my Mum a one-to-one session with Emma in Pilates Plus Dublin for her birthday which is right after Christmas. She already knows, so this isn’t ruining the surprise by the way. But she is a massive Pilates fan so I thought this would be a great way to get one on one attention to help her with her form and to get a great workout in too. I’m going to be joining in on this session while I’m at home at Christmas so watch this space!
Anyway, that’s my gift guide for fitness lovers. Please let me know if you found it useful!
Have a great week!
