Hi Guys! It’s certainly been a while since my last post. Things have been insanely busy between work, life and trying to stay on top of my fitness plan. But it’s all good, I feel like after some time out I’m ready to get back into the swing of things with the blog.
So as you may have gathered from the title of this blog post, I started my YouTube channel last weekend! I do realize that I just declared how busy I was, and that I just took on something to make life even busier, but I genuinely am so excited. For a long time I didn’t think that I would start on YouTube because it seemed so daunting and a whole lot of hard work. I was starting to feel as though it might be something worth trying. So two weeks ago I filmed my video, told no one, and just gave the editing a go. I told myself that if I actually enjoyed the process, then I would share the video and get the ball rolling. I can honestly say that from beginning to end I loved putting the whole thing together. I love the feeling of accomplishing something, so having a video that I was proud of (after a week of editing – no joke) was really satisfying.
I’m excited for another channel to really get creative with. I think it will be a really great way for people to get to know me, and see what I have to offer this insanely saturated blogging world. I have so many ideas and plans – I can’t wait to get moving on them all! Also, please let me know if there is anything in particular that you would like me to film?!
I also just wanted to give a quick update on my fitness program too while I’m here. I’ve been absolutely loving having my plan from Recalibrated Bodies to keep me on track through a busy period. Typically, whenever I feel overwhelmed or tired from work or whatever else is going on, my dedication to exercise and healthy eating is the first thing to go out the window. When I have a robust plan of action in place though, it’s almost like an anchor to keep me sticking to one of the most important things to me. I say that not because I want to stay in shape or improve my physical appearance, but because working out and feeling the sense of accomplishment I get from making it to the gym in the morning is so fulfilling and really motivates me in all other aspects in my life. That sound so cheesy but I promise it’s true.
This is just a quick update and check in but I do hope you enjoyed reading! Have a great weekend, and thank you to everyone who has subscribed to my YouTube channel so far, the support is SO appreciated.
